Temescal Works Co-working

We renovated a dilapidated  paint factory building to create a new neighborhood, friendly co-working facility in the heart of Oakland’s Temescal District. The space was designed to provide an array of work style options including communal tables, dedicated desks and private offices supported by a large kitchen, lounge, phone booths and conference rooms. Improvements to the building shell  involved a major seismic overhaul of the building,  the addition of a large wrap-around mezzanine to create additional leasable space,  and opening the front of the building with glass to create a clean, classic and welcoming facade.
