After completing a considerable Use Permit process, we developed a dynamic indoor/outdoor entertainment experience for Kitty’s Bar. The design features curved shapes to set the tone of each area: the rounded bar reaches out into the space and is the hub of interior activity, while the edge of the patio is curved inward to create a greater intimacy in the outdoor area. The interior and exterior are separated by two sets of double glass doors, creating a feeling of continuity between the spaces. Paisley-inspired murals, a rough-hewn walnut bar-top, and tuck-and-roll leather booths complete the environment.
